An important milestone announced in the continuing development of UK-India Collaborations in Telecoms Research & Innovation by the signing of an important MoU between Bharat 6G Alliance and the UK-India Future Networks Initiative (UKI-FNI), supported by UK Telecoms Innovation Network (UKTIN) during the International 6G Symposium, held on 16th October 2024 in New Delhi. During a high-level interaction in Bengaluru on 26th September 2024, the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA) presented a series of comprehensive action plans for the Development of 6G Technology to the Hon'ble Minister of Communications, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, and Secretary, Telecom, Dr. Neeraj Mittal. The event featured detailed presentations from the Chairpersons, Vice-Chairman and Members of the Alliance’s key working groups, outlining India’s strategic roadmap to becoming a global leader in 6G technology by 2030.
